One of the factors I always consider when deciding on joining a program or not is its website ranking. Obviously if a site is getting a lot of traffic you can pretty much bank on it being a legitimate opportunity.
The general rule among Internet marketers is that if a site is in the top 50,000 it's definitely worth consideration. If it's in the top 10,000 you've got a clearly defined winner. Remember, there are literally millions of websites in cyberspace, so getting into the top 10,000 is quite a feat.
I've been keeping an eye on GIBLINE and am excited to report that it has nearly broken into the top 10,000. As I'm writing this GIBLINE came in at 10,203.
You can use the Alexa download yourself to check on GIBLINE'S progress. Simply go to Alexa Tool
Click on the "traffic rankings" link at the top of the page and type in http://www.gibline.com
One bit of clarification. At the top, you'll see an initial ranking of 85,328. This is because Alexa uses a three month average in figuring out a website's popularity. GIBLINE has only been on the market since early September, 2007.
To get the true ranking, scroll down the page to traffic rank for GIBLINE.com and it will give you yesterday's ranking as well as the 1 week average, both numbers hovering around the 10,000 mark.
Last week when I checked these numbers it was in the 20,000 range. GIBLINE has jumped 10,000 spots in one week. It's moving fast and people are joining at a rate of 1,000 a day.
A conference call I listened in on last week predicted 500,000 members by December. That's HUGE!
If you don't know by now, GIBLINE is a social website like MySpace or FaceBook for business minded adults. It offers a single straight line payment plan where everybody takes turns getting paid.
